About Me

My name is Raul Larosa. I’m an IT high school graduate and sworn sysadmin from Milan, Italy.

Throughout my final years of school, I’ve come to realize that I adore computer networks over anything else. Being a relative newcomer to the field, I am always looking to learn more and I spend every last ounce of my free time labbing out new concepts; for example, I am operating AS4242420486 on dn42 (BGP is fun with friends!).

My home network is based around MikroTik and OpenWrt, and I enjoy tinkering with every piece of gear until it either works or breaks. I am also an advocate for IPv6 adoption, having deployed it across my network with no issues. Chances are, you’re using it to access this website right now!

Aside from networking, I have an interest in furry art and 2D side-scroller games like Hollow Knight and Rain World (but Tunic and Death’s Door are two favorites of mine as well). I tend to obsess over my favorite media a lot, especially when it comes to lore and technical implementations. As you can probably tell, foxes are my favorite animal, and I sometimes like being referred to as one.
